Dr. Ziba M. Zadeh earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 1995. For nearly 30 years, she has provided compassionate, high-quality dental care, combining her expertise in general and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Zadeh is committed to making every patient feel comfortable and cared for. She offers a full range of services—including preventive care, restorative treatments, prosthodontics , implant dentistry and smile design—using advanced technology and techniques. She regularly pursues continuing education to stay at the forefront of her field.
In 2018, Dr. Zadeh completed the renowned Misch/Resnik Implant Program and
earned both her Misch Fellowship and Diplomate status with the International
Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). She also has advanced training through
the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and has undergone extensive training
in Bioclear, a cutting-edge technique for minimally invasive cosmetic and
restorative dentistry.
Dr. Zadeh’s passion for helping others extends far beyond her practice. She travels across the world on annual mission trips, bringing free dental care to communities in Kenya, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Peru . Closer to home, she gives her time and support to local schools and community programs. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Zadeh enjoys traveling, pottery, volunteering, and spending time with her husband and two children.
Dr. Zahra Ammari has over 20 years of experience as an orthodontist. Her love for orthodontics is more than straightening teeth, she treasures the connections and conversations with each patient and family. She is passionate about creating beautiful smiles in her patients and watching them evolve into confident individuals. She believes a smile is more than just straight teeth, it is a reflection of health and optimism.
Dr. Ammari completed her undergraduate education at UC Berkeley majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology and double majoring in near eastern studies. Before going to dental school, she worked at an orthodontic office in the East Bay. That experience helped to instill in her a passion for orthodontics. She received her doctorate degree in dentistry from UCSF where she graduated with honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. Dr. Ammari completed her orthodontic residency at the University of Connecticut where she received a Master’s degree in dental science and a certificate in orthodontic specialty.
Dr. Ammari has taught at the orthodontic clinic at Pacific School of Dentistry in San
Francisco and has volunteered at local dental societies. She is a member of the
American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists,
California Association of Orthodontists and World Federation of Orthodontists.
When not working with patients, she likes spending time with her family and friends, hiking, camping, gardening and knitting.
Dr. Rad graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry and also holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California. This foundation in both clinical dentistry and engineering continues to shape her approach to patient care and professional growth.
She believes that prevention is more powerful than treatment and is dedicated to helping patients feel empowered in their oral health journey. Her philosophy emphasizes education, minimally invasive care, and a commitment to preserving natural teeth whenever possible.
To build on these principles, Dr. Rad pursued advanced continuing education in endodontic diagnosis and treatment strengthening her ability to preserve natural teeth through root canal therapy. With her engineering background, Dr. Rad also values the integration of artificial intelligence tool to bring greater precision and early detection of dental conditions which maximizes the chances of successful, minimally invasive procedures.
She is a lifelong learner who continually refines her skills and understands when a patient’s needs are best met in her care or through referral, ensuring that every patient receives the highest quality treatment and support along their dental journey.
Outside of dentistry, her greatest joy is spending time with her husband and
daughter. She also enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, playing piano, and finding
new ways to learn and grow both personally and professionally.
